I have been home now for two months in Michigan. I have had so many new opportunities to speak and share the vision for my work in Tanzania. I feel this is confirmation that I am flowing on God’s path that He has for me. My work in Tanzania is also coming together clearer and stronger than ever. New burdens and strong passions for the women and children of Arusha are guiding me and encouraging me to step out in faith and start new projects. My work with LOHADA will continue as will my work with Partners Worldwide but now they are starting to connect. The new project will be to open a shop where the family members of the children of LOHADA (moms, sisters, grandmothers, etc.) can work to make enough money to send the child back home. We will be creating jobs, lifting spirits, providing a safe and Christian work environment and reuniting families. Check out the merchandise that we will be manufacturing and sending back here to sell (see picture). Please keep us in your prayers as we start this new venture and thank you so much for all your support.

God Bless,

Jennifer

This is Bryan. Bryan and his brother Bryson came to live at LOHADA after they were abandoned by their mother. Unfortunately, their mother is practically a child herself and can barley survive on the streets. Bryan is just one of the many children a LOHADA that are not sponsored. Our sponsorship program needs many more people to help. I ask that you would pray and consider sponsoring one of our children. You can see other profiles of children at our website www.lohada.org . It's not long now that I will be with you again in the states. Thanks again for the support.
God Bless,
Jennifer

Besides my work with Partners Worldwide and LOHADA, I also get to give my testimony to churches all over Arusha. Last Sunday I was at Christ Church, an Anglican church in town. And even though I am clear across the world God is the same everywhere and His grace and mercy can touch anyone at any time. I am blessed to be able to continue speaking out about how He delivered me from Drugs and how He pulled me out of a life of darkness and brought me into His marvelous light!

Children's Sunday @ Church

A couple weeks ago World Outreach Mission Church (Mama Wambura's husband is the pastor) had Children's Sunday, where the children in LOHADA participated in the service. Our children quoted Bible verses, sang songs and danced for most of the service. The short but effective message was given by Mama Wambura (LOHADA's Director) about how our children are the future and that future depends on us and how much we get involved with their lives. I have been working on our Sponsorship program for the past 5 months and I feel this is the best way to get involved with our children. It's not just about the money but about the relationship. This children need to feel important; they need to feel love and to know how special they are. Our website is updated and running again so please check it out and check out our sponsor section with the stories of these awesome kids. The address is www.lohada.org.

Thank you for your support.

God Bless,
Jennifer

New Blog Spot

Hello Everyone,

Just a short update to try out my new blog spot and let you all know that things are moving along here. We are still in the process of raising money for our new dormitory and classroom at Camp Joshua Christian school. We are getting much closer though as we have changed the building plans and reduced the cost for the over all project. I am also still searching for sponsors for the children high and low. The cost to sponsor a child is $50 a month which helps feed, clothe, house and educate each one of these precious little ones. LOHADA understands that education is so important for their future but we need your help to finance our school. As far as I go personally I am amazed at how the time is flying by and can't believe how soon I will be home and back with you all. I appreciate all the prayers and financial support and pray that it will continue to bless the children of LOHADA.

My personal support is changing hands from IDEA Ministries to Partners Worldwide
